Vegetable Costume Parade Contest

The big day has arrived!

At last, after many days of class suspensions due to heavy rains and flooding, the culmination of all activities for the Nutrition Month has come. And because of many weeks of postponement, it is celebrated alongside the Buwan ng Wika activities.

Nevertheless, it's a perfect day for everyone with God giving us a good weather and fun-filled entertainment from the students and teachers.

Wahvu is happy to represent the Prep PM Class as a corn that day. I am happy that his adviser, Teacher Ruby, liked the corn costume that hubby and I created for Wahvu.

See here how we made the corn costume for Wahvu.

Not a sign of any tantrum from our sweet kid. Thank God!

He patiently waited for his turn to be called onstage, alongside the other contestants.

And Wahvu sweetly smiled while they are being presented to the judges. With him is his partner Margaret Ayento, his fellow Prep representative. She is representing the Prep AM class, and wearing a broccoli costume.

Wahvu jumped for joy when his name was announced as the first placer for the Vegetable Clay Molding. See his vegetable clay moldings here.

Wahvu brought home the First Runner-Up award for the Vegetable Costume Parade Contest. Thank you very much! :)

  1. Greetings! I know this is kind of off topic but I
was wondering if you knew where I could get a captcha
plugin for my comment form? I'm using the same blog platform as yours and I'm
having trouble finding one? Thanks a lot!
